Shilpa Coorg

Shilpa Coorg, counsel with RFZ Law, has over a decade of experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex disputes. Shilpa’s practice covers a broad range of matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright advice and litigation, as well as privacy-related claims arising under statutes such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the federal Wiretap Act, the California Invasion of Privacy Act, and the Video Privacy Protection Act. Shilpa also represents clients in contract disputes, disputes involving fraudulent misrepresentations, class actions, and cases arising under Proposition 65.

Shilpa manages all phases of litigation—from pre-filing investigation and voluminous discovery, through trial—in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution forums. Shilpa has obtained favorable outcomes for her clients at every stage of litigation, including numerous dismissals at the pleading stage (for defendants), summary judgment, and negotiated resolutions.

Shilpa is actively involved in the legal community. She is a former Co-President of the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California and continues to serve on its Steering Committee. Prior to joining RFZ, Shilpa was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis and Winston & Strawn.
